Shannon Van Horn has been a professional makeup artist for over 20 years, with a focus in the entertainment, fashion and beauty industries. She is professionally trained in Special Effects, but her true love is beauty makeup and male grooming.
A veteran of retail cosmetics, NYFW, and the beauty world in general, she has been fortunate to work with the industry’s top makeup artists, performers, and innovators, and continues to be inspired by her artistic community.
Currently, Shannon’s focus is predominantly red carpet glamour, male grooming and fashion editorials.
Some of her celebrity clients include Jai Rodriguez, Elle King, Chris Kattan, William Zabka, Wallis Day, Sarah Bolger, Finneas, Jackie Tohn, Kathy Griffin, The Pussy Cat Dolls, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass and Steven Tyler.
Some of her T.V. credits include VH1's Celebrity Weddings, Nightline, Jimmy Kimmel, Entertainment Tonight, and the 47th Annual Grammy Awards.
Editorially, her work has graced the cover of Esquire, and has also been featured in Allure, Us Weekly, Wingman, A Book Of, Katblut, Desire Homme, Grazia and People magazines.
